The AA just let me know that ModelPress or Myriad (whatever you like to call it) is not "supported" any more.
It may work up to the point were you upgrade.

What is going on with ModelPress Publisher/Viewer?. Looks like this one was a time limited deal too.
Any other free (and not temporary) good publisher/viewer you can recommend?

Hi,
I have Alibre and SolidWorks.
The only reasons I moved to SW it was speed. (in 3D and 2D)
On the same system SW is way faster that Alibre.
I have a system were Alibre did not work , SW runs Ok.
Without going in more debates, for me SW was a good investment.

I had a discution regarding hardware and it was mentioned that some of the dual processors boards offer the posibility of alocating OS to one processor and other applications to the second one.

I don't believe that you can compare Alibre and and SE and SW.
First is not fare for Alibre - you can not compare the prices
Second is not fare for Sw and more for SE- you can not compare the SPEED the licence and the features.

To go back re Greg's post and SW.
SW has a nice feature. In a drawing of a assy you can, on the same view, to have two positions of the same mechanism. On poz is represented in full lines the other (ie the end of the stroke) is in doted line.

I am with Gary. Right know I'm at the point that I hate CAD and that is becouse Alibre is SLOW.
Adding more features is like offering power windows on a car that just don't run.
In the same time I was ready to put more money in hardware but with Alibre licence I don't have to much to...
