Bugga. Thanks David. Cheers for the reply, unfortunately I only have one.

    Alibre low cost version

I'm tempted to instal the trial version to determine if upgrading is worthwhile, but I'm a bit worried about installing it on a PC that already has a fully functioning version of Cubify. Would it be safe to do this or will the trial attempt to overwrite the existing version? Also, the price...

    Alibre low cost version

+11 When I mentioned this on Facebook, I got a reply with the following link: https://www.alibre.com/product/alibre-atom3d/ It would be nice to see the 'Buy Alibre Atom3D' button (at https://www.alibre.com/atom3d/) redirect to this page instead of regional re-sellers. Now I'm just trying to...

    "Cubify Design" feature list

Re: "Cubify Design" feature list? Max has stated in another thread ( I can't find it now ) that GMPE (now CD) neither gained nor lost features from the last version of ADPE, so the feature list remains the same.

    Clearance Kitchens Birmingham

Miles had the right idea in the first post, fight fire with fire, spam the company back with nuisance phone calls and emails. I see they have a fitting service. Maybe give them a call, be as serious as possible and organise for them to come and do a quote for a big kitchen at an address that is...

Importing add ons for geomagic personal?

Hello David, you are indeed correct. However it is my(possibly misguided?) understanding that "/" is shorthand for "or", therefore meaning import or export. As commonly used with male/female, yes/no etc. This is my understanding too, however, untested by me. Please forgive my long-winded...

Importing add ons for geomagic personal?

I think the purchase price for the 'Advanced Import/Export' module is about $250, I don't know for fact as I've never got a quote. This module allows STEP and STL import/export, among many others. As with the previous two messages, I purchased the Sherline edition for $250 which includes the...

    An Open Question for Max

can patches be had by non subscribed users?

"A patch is a piece of software designed to fix problems[1] with, or update a computer program or its supporting data. This includes fixing security vulnerabilities[1] and other bugs, and improving the usability or performance. " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_(computing)

can patches be had by non subscribed users?

I would be surprised if patches were only available to subscribers. People hand money over in good faith for a product that is advertised to do a particular function. If that product is full of bugs and/or crashes often making it essentially unusable, then tough, they are out of luck? Don't...

can patches be had by non subscribed users?

I have wondered the same, I would imagine bug fixes and patches should be available to all while minor revisions and major updates are available only to subscribers.

GM service pack - when is one coming?

Not sure about elsewhere in the world, but here in Australia the annual subscription is the same price as PE itself... so $220 for PE and another $220 for the subscription.
