When i publish assemblies to PDF they want to "explode" when I activate the 3d pdf, any one know why?

I have drawn a 3 jaw chuck for a lathe. I want to set up the assembly so that all three jaws move radially an equal amount -- any one know how to set this up?

Can some one direct me to any discussions on projecting sketches onto curves surfaces. I used Pro/E and you could draw a sketch on a plane and then project it onto a surface. Can this be done in Alibre?
