Okay -- this looks like Alibre might have changed the way some values are referenced in v12. I might need to set up a v12 version of the application to correct this issue. Is it working for anyone yet on v11.2? :?: I'll see if I can get a v12 version set up this week.

Hi again, GPC. b-splines are currently added using control points with the Point Import Wizard. As I recall, the Alibre Design API did not support adding curves using points on the curve, which requires interpolation. I'll check on this again to see if there's any new functionality here...

Is the assembly file still open, or are they still around when the assembly file is closed? I know that AD does load into memory all the parts in the assembly when the assembly is open. Editing a part will probably just show it and closing it will probably just hide it again.

You know what -- I just tried to reproduce it and I couldn't. :roll: Hmmm.... With an assembly open, the API will show you all of the parts that make it up -- that makes sense -- but I can't reproduce the "phantom" parts outside of that scenario now at all. I know I've seen it though...

That's correct -- when you close a design session it simply hides it from you. You can see the same behavior if you open and close several parts in one of my API tools, then try to use the tool. Even if you only have a single part "open" you'll get a dialog box that asks you to select a part...
