2D drawings with modified cosmetic threads

I have quite a few parts that have cosmetic external threads that have a section removed by a revolved cut to make reliefs. The 3D models looks perfect but the drawing are incorrect: the removed portion of the thread is still present, in fact the cosmetic lines show the full thread with the length defined in 3D, even though the actual part will have a much shorter thread. Here is an exaggerated example:

Is there a way to obtain the correct representation?

Modifying the threads to correspond to the final length isn’t a solution because there is always the start of the thread (transition between a cylindrical face to the threads themselves) floating in the air like in the picture. Using the simplified representation that could be hidden inside an edge could work if its position is known with precision.

I used Solid Edge before switching to Alibre and it generates correct drawings so I expected that Alibre would as well.

I attach the file that allowed me to generate the above picture.
