Adding Custom Part Properties

Hi All.

Did a quick forum search for this and looked through the help file and couldn't find a solution so I thought I'd ask here...

How exactly do I go about adding a custom part property?
Under Gem> Properties>General>Part Data there is a Custom Properties area, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add any fields here.

Help would be greatly appreciate.

I have re-purposed existing properties, with new names,so that I can reference them in the equation editor.

For example one has been changed to be named "length", and I can tag a dimension as "length" and it will show up as such in BOMs.

As for actually ADDING any, I have not done that and do not know if it can be done.

I suppose, but there are a pot-full of existing entries that I have no use for, and so it is fine to re-use one. That is, by the way, covered in the help file.

Thanks for the work around. Kind of bizarre that it's needed though.
The fact is that the "File Properties->General->Part Data" values are (A) poorly thought out and (B) virtually stupid when it comes to creating proper Project and Drawing documentation. [This is, unfortunately, a CAD-Industry wide phenomenon.]
