Aletate technique to using layers....??

Morning....

I have the Alibre Prof 9. Layers has been deleted as a command.

Using layers is common technique for "what if's", or, to view mulitple options, individually.

Anyone have an alternate methodology to the old "layers" command? Possibly "subassemblies". For existing and new drawings, that appears cumbersome.

The trouble is this is not included for those of us who have Alibre Standard. We got the short end of the stick when it comes to this issue. No more layers and no configurations either.
