I am currently modelling a traffic light,

My question is how can I achieve the trim the tube as the photo

Hello Simon,
Welcome to Alibre.
Look at the example I have uploaded and look at the sketches and extrusions in order and you will see how I would do it.
The fillet can be made as small or as large as you want so long as it doesn't exceed one of the other dimensions of the angled cut. (X or Y dims)
