Alibre crashes when I try to export .stl file

I am trying to generate an .stl file of a simple box to calibrate my new 3D printer. I'm using the default settings for the file as per the <system options>.

After saving the file,

I select export - .stl - filename - save.

the stl options menu is displayed,

I select OK,

the message bottom left of the screen indicates "writing file to disk" with a blue bar approximately 25% across the box.

Alibre freezes.

Windows Task Manager reports " Alibre not responding"

The file is a simple open ended box to calibrate a 3D printer.

Alibre 2017 64 bit, Windows 10 version 1703.

Can anyone advise what the problem is.

Worked fine for me. Doesn't help resolve your problem but I have attached the file for you to use.

FWIW I just reinstalled the OS and software on my PC. Alibre was still vanilla when I opened your part and exported the stl. Not sure why yours isn't working.

Does this error show on its own or after you click something. Sometimes, depending on your settings, software will appear to be frozen while it is actually calculating.
