Alibre Design Job Network

Hi... does anybody in the forums know a site for Alibre Design Job Network?

Other CAD softwares have their own job networks...

I'm guessing you mean like http://www.pejn.com and the like, where you have a specific place for employers and jobseekers alike that are looking for expertise or work with a certain platform.

I'd say this forum would count... maybe add another forum section just for the purpose?

Of course, Alibre being so easy to pick up, having Alibre-specific experience may not be as advantageous as having good general solid modeling skills. I can understand needing to find someone with 5000 hours of Catia experience, but anyone with any 3-D CAD under their belt would do just fine picking up Alibre.

My $0.03, anyways. (I'm Canadian, I have to account for the exchange rate.)

Thanks for the clarification. I had my blinders on as I am more interested in the contract work aspect.
I think you have a good idea, and as the previous post suggested, why not use this forum for posting jobs and resumes of job seekers?

If anyone is interested in picking up some extra cash, I need a couple of jobs done in Alibre Atom. Please domestic US replys only. These jobs will require me sending you some samples and the duties and taxs outside the domestic US seem to be prohibitive.

By the way, it is true internationally that samples and prototypes can be go through customs without taxes up to a certain value. I think for the US it is around 1000$US. So, you do need an invoice showing estimated value but you shouldn't pay extra taxes for samples.
My 0.02€ (lol, exchange with euros is almost 1:1 now).
