Alibre does roman numerals

If you create an equation called M, alibre will always insert the value of 1000 whenever you use it. I'm not a CAD designer. Is this a CAD standard? None of the other roman numerals work. I'm using v10.

Is this with metric units?

m -> 1000mm
cm -> 10mm
mm -> 1mm

These are (kind of) pre defined constants.

Ah ha! Alibre is guessing that when I entered M, it assumed I meant one meter even though I didn't enter a number.

I was creating a part from a drawing where all the dimensions were labeled A-M. I created equations for all the dimensions, but alibre doesn't let me use M.
