I just looked at the thread. Except for a couple of posters, most of the commentary sound pretty reasonable, and makes some good points. Unfortunately, the thread seems to have degenerated into a shouting match.

I get the impression that there are software 'fans' out there that are more rabid than the most obsessed science fiction fans.

When you see Jon B get into the action of a CAD vs CAD discussion, the conversation goes no where but down.

There is no use in getting into a forum dispute with Jon. He simply goes to a forum for a while to bash his current victom then will go elsewhere when they boot him.

From what I see he does this as a full time job! :shock:

I still wonder how much he gets paid to cause such an uproar on sights. Most of the time he does not own the software nor has he used it. He simply goes around collecting info then compiles them in a way to cause arguments on their forum.

IMHO: Put any chat with Jon on ignore.
