Arrow direction on the Chamfer Dimension tool?

When dimensioning chamfers on prints, what determines which way the arrow comes off the text? Or is there a way to manually flip it? I would've assumed that it'd behave the same as a Note with Smart Anchor turned on & switch itself when the angle started getting extreme but that doesn't seem to be the case.

For example, this job I'm working on right now would look much more compact if I could have the arrow leader coming off the left so the arrow pointed up and to the right, but I can't find where I'd do that.

if you're doing that with anntonations.
first position the text:


than position the arrow:
ready...

you can choose the arrow coming from the right side of the text...

or from the left:
