Assembly Drawings

Is there a way I can get Standard, flat views of my assembly? All views I select are tilted at angles and such and I need straight views for these particular drawings.
In other words, views like I would have of a part and not assembly.

Hi Richard

If you constrain your assembly to one of the main planes you don't have to put in any special views or orientations. Sometimes I will orient the first part and then build on that. Then your standard drawing views project easily.

Or if (by accident or design) the assembly is at some odd angle, you can save a custom orientation in the 3D space then use that as the starting point for your 2D projections.
