Atom 3d purchase with updates

I've been using/learning this product for a few months now and would like to purchase a full license. It seems like a no brainer to also get the $50/year for updates but just wanted to get some thoughts on this.
This product for me is already a great buy and right now has what I need .

I think it's a pretty darn good deal. Alibre is releasing a steady stream of updates with the old crew back in action. I feel like I get my money's worth even with the higher cost of Alibre Expert maintenance.
