Auto-populate weight in 2D drawing.

Does any one know if it is possible to make a 2D drawing automatically update and populate the weight field?

Not through the part properties as one normally would unfortunately. Hopefully that will be fixed with the upcoming release. There was a workaround using a separate BOM (I think) but I can't quite remember how that works. If I recall correctly DavidJ may be the one to ask.

Thanks! Using a BOM is the best solution this far, not optimal maybe, but it seems there's no better alternative. Hope they fix it in the upcoming release.
