BOM in DWG

Question regarding on how to handle a BOM in the DWG.
I would like to have one item callout for the sub-assembly (yellow and blue), this BOM should only be two Items.

I in had this problem a few years ago. I believe you have to open the subassembly, then click file properties and there’s a button to check at the bottom that says treat as item assembly in BOM. Then when you put that subassembly into something else and make a drawing it doesn’t show as separate parts. Sorry for the vague answer. If I was at work I could give you a screen shot of how to do it.
