Bug or intentional?

If I have wireframe set in the display, and then toggle on turbo mode I get shaded view! Just thought I'd point that out. I'm testing with other things to see if it always applies shaded view during turbo mode.

As an aside, wireframe mode makes my computer crawl. Isn't it supposed to speed it up since Alibre doesn't have to calculate all of those visual meshes?

Nope, because now it has to generate all the lines that would normally be hidden by a shade. Maybe someone from Alibre with specific knowledge of the engine could shed some clearer light on this subject.

I don't think its quite so cut and dry as that, since the engine calculates everything and the display layer is what decides what is hidden and what is displayed.

Common practice dictates that you work in wirefram for large complex work, but I was just wondering if that applies to the Alibre rendering engine.
