Building a bent round rod

Hi I have been away from Alibre for a few years and have forgot how to build a bent round rod :evil: I have version 11.Would appreciate some help.Thanks.

Use a Sweep with two sketches; one for the path that defines the shape of the bent rod, one for the profile or diameter of the rod.
Check your Help manual if in doubt.

Hi again I only have version 11 and my tools are different than what I see on your screen.I drew a sketch like you sent but it still won't work I have the sweep options in thin wall boss or in boss extrusion neither of them seem to work

It is sometimes important that the sweep path actually touches and starts on the profile to be swept.

Most basic tools are effectively the same now as in v11, the new user interface looks different but the tools work the same way.

I did it.Had to start both sketches on the origin.Thanks much for your prompt help David. :lol:
