There was talk at one time about being able to constrain a cam follower to a specific path. I would like to see a constraint that would allow a follower to track a cam lobe, a slot or groove produced by using the "sweep command". The path to consist of a shape other than a straight line or a circle.

I've got an idea for a good workaround using AlibreScript and helper trigger balls but haven't had time to program it. There are some other workarounds in the forum but you would have to search for them. Everything will be very case specific. If you can post an example for people here to work on that would be best.
