Client login help

Hey all,

I'm really hoping someone can help with my problem.
I recently bought a new Laptop and was really looking forward to using the files on my Workstation vault etc but I can't seem to create a connection.
I'm using windows 7 and have installed M-Files on the laptop which has recognised the Vaults on my Workstation via the the Homegroup. When I try to enter a vault I get an error saying the user is not recognised and does not have a login account. When I click ok it asks for a username and password, am I being completely stupid (feel free to agree ) but what username and password is it asking for.

The help files seem to be rather brief to me hence the cry for help.

Unless your Windows username and password are identical on both machines (or common via a domain), you will have to add your new user account to the M-Files Server and associate it with the Vault in question. (I'm assuming you use Windows authentication for Vault access). Alternatively you could log-in to M-Files using you old WIndows username/password (set Vault connection to be for 'specific windows user' instead of 'current windows user').
