cone flat pattern

i use to have a small program that worked great on making a flat pattern out of a cone.
I can't seem to find it.
how do i do that in alibre?
i have tried the sheet metal but not having much luck

In what way? - the SMP you posted will flat pattern without problem.

What is the specific issue you are having? Is your part the modeled the size you want?
If you select the Flatten icon the conical part will flatten.

i guess i don't know what to do.
When I select Flat pattern then try to make a drawing, it does not show a flat pattern. I don't have the option of un-bend.

I want to make a drawing of a flat pattern to cut out of flat sheet metal.
my main goal here is know how to do this in Alibre. make a drawing, then export top a dxf

In that case DO NOT select flat pattern in the 3D model. Instead select the 'project as flat pattern' option when creating the drawing.
