convert to OBJ file

Is there anyway to save a part file into a OBJ file? I know there are on-line converters but would prefer to convert within Alibre.

I don't believe so. When an Alibre salesman was emailing with me back and forth a few months ago we were discussing possible import/export upgrades to the new Alibre. He mentioned that OBJ import and export was a real possibility in the future, but obviously he didn't know for sure that it would happen, just that there were serious internal discussions about eventually including it. Were they to do so, that would likely make me re-up for maintenance (in case anyone from Alibre is listening! ). Interoperability is key!

Thanks Bob. I'm having more clients asking for that type of file, mostly for 3D printing but also virtual reality. We shall see if Alibre flips the switch on this one.
