Create Plane from point and vector

I have some CMM data to overlay onto a model file, does anyone have a general approach to this?
point x,y,z and vector i,j,k (changed to degrees)

Todd,

We discussed working with spherical coordinates a while back.

You want to create a Plane at a Point, normal to a given direction?

3D Sketch seems to be the way to go. You can import Point data directly into it.

Yes I've used the Point Wizard plenty of times, it's great.
3d points can also be imported while in 2d sketch mode as well, but my problem resides in creating the vector from that point and then the plane.
Ok, must have missed "spherical coordinates" during my searches in this forum, but I don't post without searching first.
Thanks for the redirection.

Todd,

Once you have your Point in 3D Sketch, you can use Reference Lines to dimension an arbitrary Line from it, to the required vector. Next, choose Insert Plane and a Plane will be added to one end of the Line (switchable), normal to its direction. Only one point/vector per 3D Sketch, though.

Or If I'm thinking of this right you can make an axis through the two points and then a line perpendicular to the line through one of the points.

Here are a couple of examples:
