The USB cord length: ~2m, is a bit too short, therefore an USB extension cable ~3m is recommended.
Black, shiny metal, transparent (glass).... faces/surfaces, are not recognized correctly, or as a "hole".
You can improve things/objects with cosmetic powder spray, or with 3D scanner spray/powder spray.
A "turntable" scan is cumbersome with the Sense scanner software, if the object is (very) asymmetrical.
Better, you walk around the object, with the Sense scanner.
It is not easy, because two things at the same time are important:
Distance between the Sense scanner and keeping the focus on the object with the Sense scanner in your hand and recognizing the visual feedback from your monitor with the Sense software.
A simple trick for a first test:
Sense with rubber band(s) -> on the back side of a tablet or laptop computer (iPad with a special app) and you can see your object and at the same time the visual feedback from the Sense software on your laptop or tablet computer.
