Cylinder Slots

Hi All,
I'm working to cut slots in a pipe model around the pipe's circumference. The pipe is 5in L with slots of 1in. I want the slots placed at 60deg intervals around the pipe.

It's simple, but I'm not sure how best to accomplish it in Alibre.

Please advise.

Assuming that you have your pipe created using a thin wall extrude or whatever. Let's assume you sketched your circle that you extruded on the xy plane. Then, sketch on the yz or the xz plane and make the shape of your slot and constrain it properly. Extrude Cut the sketch of your slot through the wall of the cylinder. Then, use the feature --> Pattern (circular) to create the other slots at 60 degree intervals. Use the z axis as the center (in my example).
