What's new

defined part is not defined

When I draw a sketch consisting of two concentric arcs with origin as center and two interconnecting lines, it should be fully defined. However it claims not to be. It is somehow irritating that I cannot have starting and stopping angle as parameters. But fixed numbers are fine for now

Only becomes fully defined if dimensioned and fixed in space. You can have starting & stopping angles as parameters. Might help if you provided the file, or at least a screenshot.

The center is given as origin, starting agle is 330 end angle is 210, Radii are 40 and 60mm. To me it looks defined.

What if you close and then re-open the sketch? Sometime sit has to re-calculate.

I don't see your dimensions.... perhaps provide the file.

When I fully dimensioned a similar sketch it showed as fully defined, but not until I added all the dimensions.

Hi!
The angles mentioned, I didn't see any dimensions for those, I added dimensions to the X-axis, and then it's fully defined.

Best regards /Rasmus

Yes - you had only defined the radii, you could still drag the ends of the arcs.
