Does Red Eye work anymore?

Hasn't worked for me since 2012 (32-bit).
Miss it except from another post regarding "facet" problems (http://forum.alibre.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14298&p=87141&hilit=facet#p87141) I conclude that like Keyshot -
Red Eye used "the faceted data of the on-screen display" and turned a $250 part into horrifically faceted garbage (under 2011 version) :evil: .
With Red-eye broken it is a moot issue without confirmation this is what happened (happens). But if so - that is a really bad Add-on to transmit a part (Now I would only get a quote, then upload the part on the web site) and maybe why it is not being "fixed".
