A quick little example that shows how to simulate a light in HyperShot using one of these 3 materials:

- X-RAY (orange)
- GENERAL (green)
- FLAT (blue)

You can download and unzip that file into: HyperShot-Content -> Bip`s

Now I am intrigued by the spheres!

I would like to "map an image of the earth" onto a sphere drawn in Alibre, so that it looks like one is looking at the earth from a distance in 3D,, is this possible? I am afraid I'm not up to speed on Hypershot, I've been using it, but only on objects I can paint and assign properties to,, I haven't done any "decal" type work and I fear I don't know what I"m doing. I've watched some of the videos, and webinars but so far either I am too dense, or I haven't seen the right ones.

Any help out there??

regards

Thanks Ralf!!

I did figure out how to do what I needed, but as I say it was a matter of trial and mostly error. Your link will be of value going forward.

Thanks again Ralf, you are the man!!
