i am drawing an ingot mold to be made out of sheet metal.
Is there and easy way to extend my sides to form a corner so when in flat view it can be cut with a lazer cutter.
I don't know how to connect the corners.

I want to send this file to get a bid to make it. I want to send the finished product drawing and a flat pattern drawing.
can i do this in 1 drawing? do I create a 2nd configuration to accomplish this?
I also need to send as a dxf file also. or dwg as a flat and 3d?
I like to keep in 1 file so if I make a change i don't have to remember what file to modify.
what is the best way?

No need for second config. DO NOT flatten the part in the Sheet Metal Module. Instead choose the option 'project as flat pattern' when creating the 2D drawing

Make sure you have your view scale prominently noted or better yet set the view scale to 1:1 when sending flat patterns.
I always send a 1:1 DXF when sending anything for laser cutting, as well as a drawing, that way it's my fault if its wrong!
