I go on asking for attention to the drawing environment.
Today I made several drawings based on parts and assemblies.
1)
Drawing of assembly:
When opening several dimensions are red indicating error - which error?
I remake the dimensions and save. When opening again it is OK.
I then edit a part: I only edit the description - no change of design.
Drawing opened again: Dimensions connected to this part red again. Why?
2)
Drawing of part with lot of holes.
Here I want to use the Ordinate dimension tool.
First dimenion (zero) is OK.
Next is shown as parametric - shown as D=xxxx
Next is OK (Driven)
Unable to get rid of the parametric dim. I had to start all over again on a new sheet.
Very very annoying!!
My message (again) to Max and the team:
If you want Alibre to be considered a professional tool you have to take a serious look at the drawing environment.
As previously mentioned by me: Existing features should be working without problems before using energy on new features.
