Drawings: Centermark - is there an easier way?

One area of frustration for me is demonstrated on the video at link below.

In the drawings module, there should be an option to just make a centermark with just a + instead of having to drag the lines as shown in video. So tedious and such a waste of time!!!!! Is there something that I am missing?

Can't see a way of just adding the mark first. But if you double click on the centermark, a box called 'CenterLine Properties' will appear where you can change the style from 'Lines' to 'Marks'. Saves you from the dragging lines method.

And if you always want it that way, change the setting in the drawing template properties (on 'Annotations' tab).
