Excel add-in question

Do the points imported have to be Cartesian or can I import them as polar? I have to model cams for our machines and the data is polar coordinates. I've already wrote the spread sheet to convert polar to Cartesian just wondering if I needed to.

I think Alibre Design needs only Cartesian coordinates, so your spreadsheet will help.

Assuming your "Excel spreadsheet" is in "XLSX" format, it's not that hard to write a WizoScript to read in the coordinate values from your worksheet/cell positions and generate (and "name") Reference Points.
