Exporting as SLDPRT cannont open in eDrawings?

Hello,

Having some issues with the export to SLDPRT. It exports fine in both Geomagic and Alibre. I then cannot open the file in eDrawings 2014, 2017 or 2018. I've also tried opening "old" files from a year ago that were exported from Geomagic and opened fine back then in eDrawings.

We are also having an issue with Parasolid filetypes. One that was exported today will open in Alibre. One that was exported as a Parasolid several months ago will not open in Alibre.

I've attached a copy of the error message from eDrawings below for the SLDPRT Files.

From what I know, E-Drawings can only open authentic Solidworks files. The SLDPRT file saved by Alibre is actually a version of a STEP file. I think it has to be saved as an E-Drawing from SW before opening in E-Drawings.

Yeah that is certainly possible. I don't do this sort of thing often and am just going by what my co-worker has described as his process in the past.
