external reference

Does anyone know if there is any way of using an exernal reference in Alibre.

This is a useful tool in auto-cad and I think it would be even more useful in alibre.

In auto-cad I beleive its main use is for architects as a basic floor plan so they can align stairs, elevators etc. on every floor of a building.

In Alibre this could be used to drive models. preliminary 2d sketches/drawings could me dimensioned, constrained even mirrored. Orthorgraphic views could then be used as references for many different marys in an assembly.

How about an import sketch button, or external reference drawing button!

Thinking about it, why can only geometry be referenced in alibre?
Why can't the sketches that created the geometry be referenced, wouldn't this solve alot of the errors caused by referencing geometry?
All the infomation is all ready there.

If anyone can put me straight on this matter I would be very happy to know that this is possible with alibre, but I can't find anything about this in the help file.
