extrude dimensions in models

I know this topic has been discussed before. I can not remember how to turn off the extrude dimensions when viewing a part. can someone direct me to a post on this or remind me how to do this. I looked in properties under the file menue and options under the tools menue but cant seem to find the correct box to check or uncheck.

I think, Menu --- View->Annotation (Ctrl+Shft+A).
