Feature I wish I could vote for!

I know that the voting system is suppose to be where this goes but I am all out of votes myself.

I would love to be able to group items in Design Explorer while working on large assemblies.

I have, for instance, 10-15 of the same part, screws, sub assemblies, etc. and my tree gets very large. It would be a great help if I could simply group those into a sort of a sub menu (like a sub assembly show sup in the tree).

To go further I would like to be able to have the hide, suppress, etc. to be capable of functioning on the group.


So if you have a free vote I think this one is a good vote for those doing large assemblies (especially machine builders and woodworking).

Even though it is not mentioned, these features including your quote to me, besides all are done with CoCreate Modeling.
As you say, one cannot create larger assembly without these.

I restructure the members of the trees freely and changes groups and create new ones and all that to have subassembly neat and tidy with CoCreate.

Why not with Alibre!?
