I have an assembly that consists of many sub assemblies. When I insert a BOM for the main assembly, it lists all the individual parts that make up each sub assembly. What I rather see is a BOM listing only the parts of the main assembly and only the part number of each sub assembly rather the components of each sub assembly. So is there a way to turn off the detailed listing of each sub assembly that I over looked?
ie. Preferred: Computer Assembly, BOM = 1 system board (sub), 1 power supply (sub) , 1 hard drive (sub), 2 ram chips (subs) Rather than, 1 system board, 18 connectors, 400 resistors, 500 capacitors....
