Well I just went to the Alibrepowered website, web address is the same but is now called "Geomagic Powered". While I was there I posted some pictures of one of my recent models.

Well I just went to the Alibrepowered website, web address is the same but is now called "Geomagic Powered". While I was there I posted some pictures of one of my recent models.

That site was due to be shut down 11/1/14. I am surprised it is still there.

Hopefully we have made inroads to the idea that Alibre/Geomagic Powered has the potential to provide more than a social network value to users of the Geomagic product set. As I have said before (and shall, almost certainly, say again) the users of this product set need a place to share data that, IMO, should not be part of 3D System's responsibility. Collecting various sets of the alibre_unicode_... datasets is one such usage. Organizing and providing access to standard part libraries is another. Building up libraries of user created tutorials is another. Such usage would certainly justify the Powered designation.
