What's new

Global Parameter settings

I created a global parameter set for an assembly. At one point I would like to view it, or rather edit it. Upon pressing the Global parameter symbol in the menu I get that dump popup : Yes, nice... why not show it or let me edit it ? Double click, rightclick .. with no result.
For some reasons unknown to me, the global parameters are converted to uppercase when they appear in the local equation editors. Can that be changed ?

If you want to edit the existing GLP file you need to OPEN it, not create a new one.

The global parameter file can be created from the Alibre design panel as right most option. the button shown in the menu has to open it. Where else ?

When I create a new sub component within the assembly view, the previously defined global parameters to this assembly are not accessible...

Try the Open File button in Home Window, or just browse to the folder in Windows Explorer and double click the file.

You have to set the GLP file association for any new part.
