I have a number of parts that were created pre V11 that are now unworkable, a sample of which is attached, the problem relate to the multiple extrusion which appears to be un-editable after creation.

Cheers

Hi Ralph

Are you saying that you can regenerate the feature without problems ? Alibre freezes every time for me. :(

Steve - I confirm some strange behaviour. Initially looked OK, but on trying to edit E5 Alibre took up one whole core and stopped responding. Had to kill the process.

Hi Steve,
I have try it with my Laptop T61p:
AV Antivir
Vista 32 bit
2 x 2.2 GHz
4GB RAM

IfI regenerate the S12 sketch (F5) , it takes ~ 8 seconds.

Steve - just tried on my alternate PC (XP 64, dual core, 8GB RAM) same problem.

It may be subtle, but there is a problem.

Hi Ralph

So does it only freeze on 32bit systems? Multi-cores?

It seems to freeze on my XP.

I sent the file to support and they had the same problem with the file becoming non responsive, looks like I will have to dust down my copy of ACAD until the problem is resolved.

In sketch S12 delete the mirrored holes.

Now F5 works.

Edit sketch and replace mirrored holes.

Now F5 works.

Something on those mirrored holes appear to be causing it but very strange that only some systems are effected.

EDIT: tried a second time and it did not work. :?

Been there tried that one and many others all with the same result.

I didn't have any issues with it. Just thinking...that's a heck of a lot of mirror ops in s12....perhaps it just isn't happy with all of those?
EDIT - nevermind....I just tried mirroring a group and noticed that it's the same way...individual copies/mirrors.
The FEATURE Mirror works pretty good tho for the group.

Thats what I was thinking too. Perhaps you can reduce the number of holes to only one half (or one quarter) and do a mirror feature to get the other side(s).
