Hollow cylinder with circular pattern on it

I am trying to create a hollow cylinder with a series of holes around it. Circular pattern does not seem to work. In searching the forum using radial pattern was suggested. I do not see radial pattern available. Is this an expert feature only? If so would anyone have a suggestion as to how to add 5 additional holes to this, 1 every 60 degrees?

Select Circular Pattern under the Model tab.
Select Extrusion 3 in the Design Explorer.
Click on the Center box.
Click on the outer or inner ring of the cylinder.
Increase number of Instances to 6.

I guess i was only clicking on the edge.

Clicking on a circular face is a very handy alternative if there is no centre axis to select.
