That's true, and as someone who learns much from these posts, I should have posted my solution. Or at least said: "I have a truly marvelous demonstration of this proposition which this margin is too narrow to contain.”
However my solution was Part.GetEdges() exactly as NateLiqGrav said, which does fit well within the margins.
