How do I extrude an Imported DXF

I have Vectric v-carve and I would like to import a file from it in DXF to Alibre and extrude it out and then export it to my Ezcam as an STL file. Any help on how to extrude a DXF would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That's a great video, but when I deactivate my sketch, I do not get an extrude icon.

Hello Randy_m,

you have to open a new 3D-Part, copy your sketch from your dxf-import (this is in 2d drawing workspace as in your picture), change to the new 3D-Part window, activate a new sketch and paste your copied sketch there. The you should see the extrude icon.
