How does one now "unlock" dimension position from the ot...?

I love that we now can snap dimension lines straight, and that they line up and move together and all of that. Mostly.

Sometimes when ordinate dimensioning, I do not want all of dimensions to line up. I may need one to stick out for some reason, or I may wish to drag the dimension to the other side of the view, so I don't have a long dimension line going all the way across the part I'm dimensioning.

Is there a keystroke or something I can use to "unlock"one dimension from the rest of the chain for positioning?

Garet, I'm not using GD2013 yet (I'm always in the middle of a major project when the big releases come out) but doesn't holding the CTRL key down when you move the dimension allow you to place it freely?

It allows me to place that dimension freely in that I can move it around like the old days, but all of the dimensions in that chain (including the origin) move right along with it.
