How to do this constraint?

I want to be able to constrain the edge of the tab to the highlighted curve, but I can't work it out. Is it possible or not?

In the Help there is a section on Applying Assembly Constraints with some animated examples. I don't think that is one of them.
Do you want the edge to follow along the curved surface or be fixed in place?

I would want the edge to follow the curve. By being able to constrain the front (as shown) and back edge of the tab to the the curve I could then drag it to where I want it or do an edge to edge offset to position it a set distance from the tip.

Here's a bit of a cheat by adding a fillet to the edge of the moveable part.
