How to get a object along a object line

I am not sure if the subject is correct.
But the problem is as follows, as can seen on the picture below i want to fil the gap between the cutout.
I have used the to geometric function but the result is not expected.

Anny suggestions how to solve this problem.
I am using the 2014 version.

Some additional tips:

I'd ensure all sketch figures are fully constrained/defined (they cannot move by dragging ).
I'd use mirror and shell operations for speed and to ensure symmetry.

This wont work, see the attached picture.
It should follow the profile outline.

Ah, that will be another step, other than original request....

I copied your Sketch 1 and created a new sketch on plane 4 that will be used for an extrude cut, through the whole part and ending at the geometry at the part end. This will remove the excess.
