how to: "import" a .gif image file
Greetings,
I am stumped, and I am hoping that someone here may have had the same
situation once and managed to do better for a solution.
I am attempting to design a part that will need my image as a focal
point for the design.
Question: How do I import this *.gif image into Alibre so that I can begin
the design process?
Research in these forums found one thread recommending the use of
Rhino to import the image and then save it as a step file so that Alibre
can use it. Is this right for what I need to do or is Alibre capable
of importing the image and allowing me to begin a 2d sketch session
around it?
thanks for your consideration and efforts to enlighten,
scott
