First, a simple midplane extrude for the first cylinder
then, i created the 45* plane using the "rotation of a plane around an axis/edge" tool.
And created another cylinder, extruded from the angled plane.
Hollow them using extrude cut, the shell tool, lofts or any number of methods.
If you're not familiar with how to create planes at an angle, check out the videos I posted in this thread:
I am trying to cut a cylinder at an angle (making a scoop), and I really don't know how to do it. I tried making a plane, but I couldn't get it on an angle. I am not sure of the angle, whatever looks correct. Does anyone know how to do this? I am running V26 Design Expert. Thanks in advance
