Imported 3D model has problem on 2D drawing

Old question, sometime imported 3D drawing will have strange lines on alibre 2D drawing, how can we correct it.

I think models often import as dumb shells made up of faces and round faces, often cylinder outer faces and bores get turned into 2 half cylinders.

You can sometimes use the delete face tool to remove one of those 2 half cylinders and it will change to a full cylinder. You will probably have to hide the edges you don't want in the drawing. I usually have a l drawing ayer called Invisible that is white and has visibility turned off. I assign any edges I don't want to see to that layer.

Support told me a trick once where you make a layer and hide it name it junk or whatever, and copy any weird lines to it.
I had it some time ago with imported stp files
